Official notification from Adobe that they will be announcing Director at GDC 08 February 19th in San Francisco. Countdown timer on Magicgate site. I will either be there or will have an official telephone press conference with Adobe. Either way, you will hear it right from Adobe about the new release.

Retrieve IP
- Local or Public IP?
- Local, use an xtra like Valentin's Shell Xtra
- Public, use a PHP script call $ip=$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
- Better method is to use a "Machine ID"
- Buddy API
- DiskInfo gets information (type, size, name, number) about a disk
